South Bay Food Company was born!
In December of 2020, three friends upgraded their kitchen from an in-home stovetop to a commercial-grade restaurant in both the American Legion Post 184 and the Redondo Beach Elks Lodge 1378.
Austin Johnson, Reilly Quillin, and Brandon Kanemaki shared a dream, and that dream was to create a local business that not only serves food, but also provides its community with a diverse dining experience that creates memories.
South Bay Food Company has expanded beyond meal prep over this last year, and though meal prep is still a main focus for the company, catering events has also become a crucial piece of the heart and soul of this business. We have the honor of feeding people smiles and serving memories at every event we cater.
From the SBFC family, we thank you for supporting us and aiding in the development of our dreams!
"We are so happy to have grown so much this year with each one of you. It has been an incredible journey and we are happy to have you all apart of it. SBFC is made of a diverse group of individuals who all play a vital role in the success of this company. With the new year around the corner, we have some big plans to continue to accommodate our growth. Get ready for the ride!"
- Austin Johnson, co-founder of South Bay Food Company
